Blueberry Lemonade

Ingredients

3 cups blueberries

3/4 cups sugar

2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice

3 cups cold water

Ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place the blueberries and sugar in a blender and puree. Place the lemon juice and water in a pitcher and strain the pureed blueberries through a medium mesh sieve into the pitcher. Stir well and pour into tall ice filled glasses

Nice twist ! 2 tips that work for me: 1)  have some simple syrup off to the side.....then taste the finished lemonade, and add some simple syrup to taste. If you do not need more sweetness, then just keep the syrup for countless other stuff, such as regular ice tea. 2) freeze some of the lemonade in ice cume trays. That way your lemonade will not become diluted when served with" ice"
