Crispy Beef Egg Rolls

  • Yield: 10 egg rolls

Ingredients

10 egg roll wrappers

10 ounces smoked beef brisket, finely chopped

Water, to moisten egg roll wrapper

Favorite tomato based BBQ sauce

Favorite mustard BBQ sauce

Favorite vinegar based BBQ sauce

Directions

  1. Place 1 egg roll wrapper on a work surface. Point the egg roll corner towards you, then place 1-ounce of chopped brisket on top of the egg roll sheet. Brush the top 2/3rds of the wrapper with water, fold up bottom corner over beef and then fold in side corners and continue rolling until the egg roll is formed. Repeat process with all remaining wrappers..
  2. Fry egg rolls in 350 degree F vegetable oil until crispy golden brown. Cut on bias. Place on plate, drizzle with BBQ Sauces.

This was very easy to make, and perfect for those picky eaters, that do not like vegetables in their meat dish. <br /> <br />Also easy to fix for the ones that like the sweet BBQ sauce vs. the ones that like the vinegar BBQ sauce. It was easy to make both at the same time. <br /> <br />Another nice thing, great way to refix left overs, into something that doesn't look like left overs.
