Deep Powder Punch

Ingredients

1-ounce vodka

1/2-ounce brandy

1/2-ounce creme de cacao

1/2-ounce white creme de menthe

1 tablespoon coconut cream

2 ounces cream

Directions

  1. Pour all ingredients and 1 large scoop of ice in blender. Blend and serve in Hurricane glass.

This drink tied for first place in the World's Best Brandy Apres Ski drink contest in 1982, sponsored by the California Brandy Advisory Board. It was created by the bartending team of Lynn Robertson and Debbie Anderson of the Eagle's Nest Lounge at Snowbird Ski Resort, Snowbird, UT.  The creme de cacao should be the clear variety. Sharing top honors was a drink called the Head Plant Punch, also created at Snowbird by Neil Cohen of The Golden Cliff Restaurant.<div>... p. 16 Skiing Magazine, September 1982</div>
