Ingredients

1 3/4 pounds parsnips

2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

3 tablespoons barbecue sauce

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1/2 to 1 teaspoon hot sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat an air fryer to 375˚ F. Peel the parsnips; cut into thick matchsticks. Toss the parsnips with the olive oil, 1 teaspoon kosher salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Cook in the air fryer in 2 batches until golden and tender, 15 to 20 minutes, tossing halfway through. Serve with a mix of the barbecue sauce, mayonnaise and the hot sauce to taste.
