Ingredients
1 teaspoon dried cilantro
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
Kosher salt
2 teaspoons finely grated lime zest and 1/4 cup lime juice
Directions
- Mix together the cilantro, cayenne, pepper flakes, cumin, and 1 tablespoon salt in a small bowl until completely combined (see Cook’s Note). Add this mixture to a large bowl along with the lime zest and lime juice (and 6 avocados) just before making the guacamole.
Cook’s Note
The seasoning mix, minus the lime zest and juice, will keep, tightly covered at room temperature, for up to 1 month. The recipe can also be scaled up. Add the lime zest and juice right before using.
