Pink Gin Martini

Ingredients

Large ice cubes, for shaking

6 ounces pink gin

1 ounce dry vermouth

2 slices grapefruit rind, for serving

Directions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the ice, gin and vermouth. Shake until chilled, then strain into 2 chilled martini glasses. Squeeze the oils out of each grapefruit rind into the martinis and garnish each glass with a rind. Serve immediately.

If you look closely at the bottle in the show, even though there is a special “TV label”, you can see “Gordon’s” written down the side of the glass bottle. My liquor store doesn’t carry it yet. Look at Gordon’s online to get the real photo. <br />**Update** My daughter finally found the gin over in Germany and brought it back for me. It was worth the wait! It’s good straight chilled and in this martini. I made it as written and it was delicious.
