Gingerbread Man Milkshake

This milkshake tastes just like a gingerbread cookie. It's made with vanilla ice cream and a mix of spices, then topped with homemade whipped cream and a gingerbread man for a winterized take on milk and cookies.

Ingredients

Vanilla frosting, for decorating the glass rim, optional

Crushed gingerbread cookies, for decorating the glass rim, optional

1 1/4 cups milk

2 pints (4 cups) vanilla ice cream

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

2 tablespoons molasses

3 gingerbread man cookies, for serving

Whipped cream, for serving

Directions

  1. To make this milkshake even more over the top, garnish the rims of 3 glasses with vanilla frosting and then roll them in the cookie crumbs. Chill 3 glasses in the freezer while you make the milkshakes.
  2. Combine the milk, ice cream, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, allspice, and molasses in a blender and blend on high. Pour your milkshakes into frozen glasses and top with whipped cream and a gingerbread man cookie.
