Herbed Lemon Chicken Breasts

Ingredients

2 Tbsp. Mrs. Dash® Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 Tbsp. olive oil

juice of one lemon

2 garlic cloves, slivered

cooking spray

Directions

  1. Low-Sodium Recipe
  2. 1. Heat grill or a cast iron grill to medium heat. Spray with cooking spray.
  3. 2. Toss chicken breasts with olive oil, Mrs. Dash® Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend, half of lemon juice and slivered garlic cloves.
  4. 3. Grill the chicken on both sides, turning at least three times to cook evenly.
  5. 4. Remove to a plate. Cover 3-4 minutes to let juices rest.
  6. 5. Squeeze other half of lemon on chicken.

Delicious!! I also wondered about the “herbs” in the title of the recipe. I didn’t have Mrs. Dash, so I looked up the ingredients (which explained the herbs) and improvised: <br /><br />Mrs. Dash INGREDIENTS<br />Onion(S), Garlic, Lemon Juice Powder, Carrot(S), Citric Acid, Lemon Peel, Natural Lemon Flavor, Oil Of Lemon, Turmeric Color, Chili Pepper, Spices (Black Pepper, Basil, Oregano, Celery Seed, Bay, Savory, Thyme, Cayenne Pepper, Coriander, Cumin, Mustard.
