Lavender Lemonade Punch

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups butterfly pea flower gin
1 3/4 cups Lavender Simple Syrup, recipe follows
6 1/2 cups lemonade (preferably made with fresh lemon juice)
2 lemons, thinly sliced into wheels, for garnish
Soda water, to top
Lavender Simple Syrup:
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons dried edible lavender flowers
Directions
- In a large punch bowl, combine the gin and the lavender simple syrup. Add in the lemonade and watch the color change! Garnish the punch bowl with some lemon slices.
- Fill each glass with ice and add a lemon slice. Portion the punch into the cups and top with soda water. Enjoy!
Lavender Simple Syrup:
- In a small saucepan set over medium-low heat, combine 1 cup water, the sugar and dried lavender. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved, 3 to 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and let it steep for 2 to 3 hours. Strain and set aside.
