Lemon Broccolini

Ingredients

1 pound broccolini

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon salt

Pinch of freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Wash and trim the broccolini and steam for 5 minutes, until it is crisp yet tender. Drain.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the oil, zest, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Drizzle the dressing over the broccolini and toss to coat.

Cook’s Note

Variations: 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper instead of black pepper or 3 tablespoons toasted hazelnuts chopped sprinkled on top
