Salami Salad with Tomatoes and Mozzarella

Ingredients

1 pound salami, cut into 1/4-inch pieces

6 tomatoes, diced

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves

1/2 pound mozzarella, cut into 1/2-inch pieces

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Olive oil, for drizzling

Vinegar, for drizzling

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine salami, tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella. Season, to taste, with salt and pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and vinegar and toss well.

I LUV PASTA

This is a nice refreshing salad and a great California wine country dish from Michael Chiarello. <br /> <br />If you like salami, you can't dislike this dish with those fresh tomatoes and mozarella chunks. Yum. And the fresh basil. <br /> <br />Just make sure you or your guests like salami before making this dish. My mother doesn't and she only took a few bites.
