Pork Chili Verde

Ingredients

3 3/4 pounds lean pork, diced

One 21-ounce can green enchilada sauce 

1/3 bunch fresh cilantro leaves, chopped 

1/3 large onion, chopped 

1/3 bunch green onions, chopped 

1 1/2 ounces canned diced green chiles 

1 fresh jalapeno, seeded and chopped 

Garlic powder

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Simmer the pork in large pot of water until tender. Drain the pork and return it to the pot. Add the enchilada sauce, cilantro, onion, green onion and green chiles and simmer until heated thoroughly.

I had to add a couple of different things like cumin, small can of diced tomatoes, chicken stock and I made a rue with butter and flour mixture. and simmered for three hours instead of one hour and BOOM!!! <br />Perfect
