Ingredients

1 1/2 ounces vodka

1 ounce ginger liqueur, such as Domaine de Canton

1 ounce fresh lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon agave syrup

1/4 teaspoon peeled and grated fresh ginger

Pinch ground cinnamon

Pinch ground cloves

Pinch grated nutmeg

Ice

Cinnamon stick, for garnish

Directions

  1. Shake all together the vodka, ginger liqueur, lemon juice, agave syrup, grated ginger, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Absolutely should be adjusted to half ounce of lemon juice for this recipe as is, so once star off for that blunder. But otherwise delicious! I did have to mess with it a bit… I didn’t have Canton on hand so like another I made a ginger simple syrup. Muddled fresh ginger, 1/2 oz ginger simple, 1/2 oz lemon juice, and a few allspice berries cuz I had no cloves, and added everything else plus a half ounce of apple cider to make up the difference in liquid. Shook n double strained into a martini glass. Pretty yummy. Would be SUPER fun with a crushed ginger snap rim!
