Peaches and Port

Ingredients

4 ripe peaches

2 teaspoons sugar

4 jiggers port wine

4 scoops vanilla ice cream

Directions

  1. Slice peaches and place in a bowl. Sprinkle peaches with sugar and add 4 jiggers of good port wine. Toss peaches in wine to coat and let stand 15 minutes. Spoon peaches into dessert dishes and top with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Now, I love wine even more than Rachael, but this just isn't much of a recipe. I bet you could do the same with peach schnapps, or pour a little creme de menthe over vanilla and have a regular old mint sundae.
