Ingredients
4 tablespoons salted butter
1 cup tartar sauce
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
1 1/2 pounds jumbo shrimp, peeled, deveined, tails on
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
6 cloves garlic, minced
4 green onions, sliced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 lemon, juiced, plus 1 lemon, sliced
Directions
- Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- In a small bowl, mix the tartar sauce and prepared horseradish. Set aside.
- Toss the shrimp with the Cajun seasoning, salt and pepper. Add the shrimp to the skillet and move into a single layer so that each shrimp is touching the base of the skillet. Add the garlic and most of the green onions, then cook, undisturbed, for 2 to 3 minutes. Toss and cook until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through. Remove the skillet from the heat and add the parsley and lemon juice. Toss to combine, then transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with the remaining green onions and lemon slices. Add the bowl of sauce to the platter with a spoon so everyone can enjoy.
