Ingredients
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
2/3 cup sliced mini pepperoni
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
24 wonton wrappers
1/2 cup marinara sauce
Nonstick baking spray, for the foil
2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
- Place the mozzarella, mini pepperoni and Italian seasoning in a small bowl and mix together.
- Lay out 6 of the wonton wrappers at a time. Start with a slightly heaping 1/2 teaspoon of the marinara on the lower half of a wonton wrapper, then top with a tablespoon of the cheese mixture. Dot the wonton edges with wet fingers. Fold the top over the bottom and pinch the 3 sides shut. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- Place on a parchment-lined sheet pan. Cover in plastic wrap and freeze overnight before transferring to a resealable bag for longer storage.
- To cook: Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Line a sheet pan with foil and grease with baking spray.
- Remove the pizza snacks from the freezer to the sheet pan, then brush each with the oil and bake for 10 minutes.
Cook’s Note
These pizza snacks can also be cooked in an air fryer. Remove from the freezer, then brush the snacks with oil and cook at 425 degrees F for 5 minutes. Cool for 2 minutes, then serve.
