Ree’s pizza snacks are designed to be kept in the freezer, so you can pull them out whenever you’re in the mood for something small to nibble on. Ree’s recipe has a filling made with mozzarella and pepperoni, but you can switch things up and use any ingredients you like.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Place the mozzarella, mini pepperoni and Italian seasoning in a small bowl and mix together.
  2. Lay out 6 of the wonton wrappers at a time. Start with a slightly heaping 1/2 teaspoon of the marinara on the lower half of a wonton wrapper, then top with a tablespoon of the cheese mixture. Dot the wonton edges with wet fingers. Fold the top over the bottom and pinch the 3 sides shut. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  3. Place on a parchment-lined sheet pan. Cover in plastic wrap and freeze overnight before transferring to a resealable bag for longer storage.
  4. To cook: Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Line a sheet pan with foil and grease with baking spray.
  5. Remove the pizza snacks from the freezer to the sheet pan, then brush each with the oil and bake for 10 minutes.

Cook’s Note

These pizza snacks can also be cooked in an air fryer. Remove from the freezer, then brush the snacks with oil and cook at 425 degrees F for 5 minutes. Cool for 2 minutes, then serve.
