Every meal needs the perfect side, and that’s just what my coleslaw is: a great accompaniment to any warm weather meal. Sambal chile paste adds playful heat that’s balanced by the sweet hoisin and crisp green apples. My slaw adds the ultimate crunch to the cookout.

Nope..nope and nope! I can’t say anything positive about this slaw recipe. Sorry, Sunny. Normally I like your recipes. Saw this on The Kitchen and it looked good. There was four of us that tried it. No one cared for it! Comments like “tasted like a you worked in a Chinese restaurant all day and left your boots at the door”.
