Ingredients

2 cold-brew ice tea bags

2 cups water 

1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice 

1/2 cup Mint Simple Syrup, recipe follows

8 ounces vodka 

Fresh mint leaves, for serving 

Lemon slices, for serving 

Mint Simple Syrup:

2 cups water

2 cups sugar 

1 bunch fresh mint 

Directions

  1. Add the tea bags to the water; steep for 10 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the tea, lemon juice, simple syrup and vodka. Stir until well combined.
  3. Serve over ice, garnished with mint leaves and lemon slices.

Mint Simple Syrup:

  1. Bring the water and sugar to a boil in a small saucepan; cook about 10 minutes. Add the mint and let steep for 5 minutes. Strain and cool. Use immediately or store, covered, in a refrigerator.

I used two Cups of de-caf brewed iced tea which I always have in the fridge.  Instead of vodka I used Bacardi Limon (lemon flavored rum) and it was AMAZING.  Cheers, y'all.<br />
