Founded by a mob family in 1947, Gaetano’s began its storied history in North Denver as a red-sauce joint. Like most things, the restaurant has changed over the years, relinquishing the majority of its classic dishes for more modernized creations, but the Tasty Treats – copper-hued rolls stuffed with roasted chiles and fennel-laced Italian sausage – continue to bridge the generational gap.
