Monti Carlo is a chef, restaurant consultant and bacon aficionado. She spent decades working front and back of the house at restaurants across the country before she traded her apron for a microphone.

Chef Monti Carlo enlists a team of Yelpers to help raise the dismal Yelp rating of Paco's Tacos, a Mexican restaurant in Brooklyn run by two Italian-Americans. Six Yelpers expose the problems before Monti works her magic with the owners and their chef, then another six Yelpers dine undercover. Will their posted reviews help lift the restaurant out of its two-star slump?

Italian Intervention

Host Monti Carlo heads to Montclair, N.J. to help restaurateur Franco with his flailing establishment, Fresco da Franco. She brings in six undercover Yelpers who describe problems with the restaurant's food and service. When Monti attempts to address the issues, Franco is resistant as he thinks he knows better. Eventually, Franco abandons the restaurant and Monti is forced to come save the day.

The Spot in Montclair, NJ, hoped that their crispy fried chicken and gooey mac and cheese would make them the neighborhood's go-to restaurant, but their Yelp reviews are full of complaints about sub-par service, management failures and basic cooking mistakes. Restaurant consultant Monti Carlo steps in to help, giving one dish a social media makeover, challenging the lead cook to a consistency test and doing a crash course in management. Then, a group of Yelp reviewers decides if these changes hit the spot!

Barbecue Street is an old-school Georgia BBQ joint stuck in its ways. The reviews are shocking and so is the surveillance footage, which reveals the reason Barbecue Street's 'cue is tough, dry, and inedible. To get them out of this rut, she brings in BBQ expert Robby Royal to give them the latest techniques and help revamp a few dishes.
