Drake has a history of making everything he touches appear cooler and more fun, and the meat-free lifestyle appears to be the latest thing on that list.

The rapper confirmed he is vegetarian during a live stream on Twitch recently, saying: "Chicken and pineapple on pizza could work — but I don’t eat meat anymore."

His confirmation followed speculation that Drake has given up meat after social media posts suggesting he may follow in the footsteps of other famous vegetarians and vegans, such as Beyoncé.

Of course, a rapper with a following as huge as Drake’s going vegetarian could be a huge win for the meat-free movement, and a restaurant chain in Drake’s hometown of Toronto is celebrating with a series of billboards.

Freshii, the brand behind the billboards, is a health-conscious fast-food chain that  "took out billboards across the city" to celebrate Drake's recent decision to give up meat.

But that’s not the end of the celebration. There’s also a related microsite: "Drake, we hear you've gone meatless. HYFR." "Giving up butter chicken and Sotto Sotto black angus steak isn't easy, even with all the pineapple pizza in the world," continues the message. "Nobody becomes a kale god overnight."

So, if Drake is the Kale God, who is the goddess? We imagine his friend Beyoncé, since she joined the meat free team first. But, really, when has she hasn’t been a goddess?
