    ONE OF THE BEST

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
I just made this and now I can see why it has gotten rave reviews. This is my 3rd or 4th attempt to make a really tasty... sangria and this recipe is by far one of the best. I cannot wait to taste it tomorrow at my Thanksgiving table. I fully expect to get fantastic reviews. I am famous for my eggnog at Christmas; now it's going to be Sangria too!!Read more

    Delicious!

I just made this for a girl's jewelry party ... we called it "Silpata & Sangria" ... WOW, what a hit! Several gals said they... didn't like Sangria, but I had them try a taste and they were hooked. I had to give one of the gals my copy of the recipe that night ... she loves sangria and is making it for her family for Thanksgiving. I would highly recommend this recipe. I quadrupled the recipe and put it in a large punch bowl ... I made an ice ring (in a jello mold) out of part water, part Pom. juice and some grapes cut up, it made a pretty presentation. Awesome-good choice

Ive made this several times over the holidays, every one loved it. The alcohol in it was not over powering, it was festive... and went down smoothly. I think it would also be a great summer time drink since it is cool and refreshing, especially with the fruit.Read more

    A HOLIDAY MUST!!!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
Oh my goodness this is SO good! I am not a big drinker but I love to entertain and host parties. After watching Bobby make... this on a holiday special and reading the reviews, I just knew I had to try this out on my Bunko ladies! I am so glad that I made 3 big pitchers full because every last bit was gone, we probably could have used about 5 pitchers full for the 12 of us, seriously! Even the 'non-drinkers' really enjoyed this! I followed the recipe exact (using Red Zin) and quadroupling the recipe cost about $135 with the booze, Pom juice and all the fruit, but oh was it so worth it! I definitely recommend this Sangria, it was a BIG HIT and I plan on making it again! If you are expanding this recipe, shop Costco for the wine, Brandy & Triple-Sec, that helped with some cost. Cheers!Read more
