Butch's Baked Beans

Ingredients

One 28-ounce can baked beans (recommended: Bush's Baked Beans)

1/4 small onion, diced

1/4 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons spicy mustard

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1/2 cup chopped or pulled pork shoulder meat

Directions

  1. Put the beans and onions in a saucepan and heat over medium-high heat until it bubbles. Add ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar. Heat another 5 minutes. When ready to serve, sprinkle the pork meat across the top.
  2. Enjoy!

These beans were a hit on the Fourth of July - not a single bean left uneaten. I put bacon bits on top instead of the pork shoulder. It was all good.
