Sugar Syrup:

1 cup sugar

1 cup water

1/2 pint raspberries

1 lime, cut into wedges

Mint sprigs

  2. In a small saucepan combine the sugar and 1 cup water and bring to a boil. Cook briefly until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and add raspberries. Let come to room temperature.

Very good! I have my own version of this I started making many years ago also using the raspberry zinger tea, but I also added the lime zest wrapped in a small cheesecloth pouch (much like a spice sack to the hot water and let that steep with the tea and used honey instead of sugar. I love the hint of the zest :. Excellent recipe!
