White Chocolate Fudge

This easy-to-assemble fudge is loaded with white chocolate and marshmallow. Red sprinkles provide some holiday color for these giftable sweet treats.

Ingredients

4 tablespoons butter

4 cups marshmallows

1 cup heavy cream

2 cups sugar

Pinch salt

3 cups white chocolate chips

Red sprinkles, for topping

Directions

  1. Line a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with foil. Combine the butter, marshmallows, cream, sugar and salt in a saucepan and cook, stirring, until melted and combined, about 5 minutes. Off the heat, stir in the white chocolate chips until smooth.
  2. Spread the mixture in an even layer in the prepared baking dish and top with red sprinkles. Let cool, then cut into squares.

The taste is excellent. The online recipe is clearer than the magazine version. Watch the stove temperature to avoid browning at the bottom. I needed to cool it in the refrigerator to remove the foil lining.
