Fried Rock Fish

  • Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

1/2 cup flour

Salt and pepper

Old Bay spice seasoning

2 beaten eggs

2 Rock fish

1/4 stick butter

1/2 cup oil

Directions

  1. Combine flour, salt and pepper, seasoning and eggs.
  2. Dip fish in mixture. Heat butter and oil in a saute pan and saute fish until crisp on both sides.

<div>Worst recipe ever. No ingredient measurements. No range temperature. No estimated cooking time. The flour egg mix was too thick to be a batter and needed milk to thin it (as recommended by other posts). The crust had too much egg in it, making it heavy, and it would not stick to the fish.</div><div><br /></div>
