Ingredients

1 cup store-bought barbecue sauce

1/2 cup mayonnaise 

1/2 cup finely chopped pickles 

2 tablespoons grated white onion

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 

2 teaspoons hot sauce 

1 teaspoon smoked paprika 

Directions

  1. Mix together the barbecue sauce, mayonnaise, pickles, onion, Worcestershire, hot sauce and smoked paprika in a bowl.

This is a GREAT BBQ sauce! Catches everyone off guard. Ideal for chicken and pulled pork. If using on whole cuts of meat like chicken breast or thighs, cut the pickles to a pretty fine dice as they need to cling to the sauce and meat. Don’t skip GRATING the onions. Just fine-dicing them will result in an unpleasant onion-forward taste and texture. Also, keep the sauce you brush on the meat separate from the other sauce for cross-contamination. That way you can serve more sauce later when serving. Everyone tends to want more!
