3 white grapefruit

2 oranges

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1/4 cup grated fresh coconut

1/4 cup chopped macadamia nuts

Directions

  1. Cut the ends off the grapefruit and oranges and stand upright. Cut away the remaining skin and membrane, exposing the fruit. Cut between the membranes to release the sections. I gave this recipe a trial run, and I'm glad I did. First, cutting up the fruit was not easy, and, consequently, it didn't look very pretty. Second, it took quite a bit of time to cut up this fruit as instructed. Third, the Macadamia nuts did not enhance the flavor.
