Lemon Yogurt Sherbet

Ingredients

2 cups plain yogurt

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1/2 vanilla bean, split

1 1/4 cups simple syrup made from equal parts sugar and water

1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients. Chill 30 minutes then turn in an ice cream freezer.

I'll never buy sherbet again. So easy, so fresh and delicious. I made the lemon and also made a batch with orange and both were wonderful.
