great idea for a christmas brunch. used donut holes and added some clean magnolia leaves, fresh winter fruit (lemons, oranges, cranberries and limes, unpeeled/wholearound the bottom of the tree on a glass cake stand. there were a few holes left by the donut holes so i added cranberries (squeezed them in in the holes was a huge hit! people thought it was the neatest thing, and the kids (and a few adults! stole a few near the end. one tip; add the cranberries to the tree dead last. sometimes the cranberries leak a bit of juice.
