Snowpeas with Red Bell Pepper

Ingredients

1 tablespoon butter

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 red bell pepper, seeded and sliced

1/3 pound snow peas, trimmed and washed

3 tablespoons water

Directions

  1. In a skillet melt butter over medium heat. Stir in garlic and red bell pepper and cook for 1 minute. Stir in snowpeas and toss to mix. Add water and cover. Cook for 3 minutes or until the snowpeas are just tender.

I made it for 4-6 people and it was so fast and simple to prepare. (I was given a 2 pound bag of snowpeas. I added some pepper as well. Everyone enjoyed them and 2 of the guests had never eaten snowpeas. Well. I never cooked them before either. Went very well with my homemade hungarian goulosh.
