Aperol Spritz Martini

Ingredients

1 ounce Aperol

1 ounce vodka 

4 to 6 tablespoons (2 to 3 ounces) chilled prosecco 

Orange peel twist 

Directions

  1. Freeze a martini glass for 30 minutes. Combine the Aperol and vodka in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Cover and shake vigorously until thoroughly chilled, about 30 seconds. Strain into the chilled martini glass. Top off with 4 to 6 tablespoons prosecco. Garnish with the orange twist, and serve immediately.

My husband made these tonight and they were amazing! Instead of the orange peel, we used vermouth stuffed olives and it reminded us of when we were in Venice, Italy!
