The menu at Tapestry combines traditional Indian spices with cuisine ranging from Italian to Southern comfort food, and the Indian inspiration can even be seen on their cocktail menu. Created as a symbol of Diwali, the Hindu celebration of the New Year, their Mulled Chai Cider drink mingles cognac with apple cider, brown sugar, ginger, apples, kumquats, oranges, cinnamon sticks, cloves, black peppercorns, Darjeeling tea and pomegranate. “[It] smells one hundred times better than potpourri or a scented candle,” trumpets owner Suvir Saran.
