Food Network Kitchen has been changing the way subscribers cook since its launch last October. With daily live classes, commercial-free episodes of your favorite Food Network shows and the opportunity to interact with your Food Network chefs and culinary experts, it’s made weeknight cooking worry-free, made project-cooking even more inspiring, and is always there for you when you need to learn a new skill.

In April, we announced that Fire TV and Fire tablet owners could now activate a 1-year complimentary subscription to Food Network Kitchen, courtesy of Amazon. And now, Echo Show users (present or future!) can take advantage of this offer as well. Plus, from July 10, 2020 to July 19, 2020, Amazon is offering Echo Show 8 at a $40 discount and Echo Show 10 at a $50 discount. When you turn on your Echo Show, simply say "Alexa, subscribe to Food Network Kitchen," and you will be prompted to redeem your complimentary one-year offer. Here’s a little bit of what you can expect when you start to explore.

Cook Hands-Free Through Voice Commands

With Echo Show’s Alexa integration, you can use your voice to make cooking along with Food Network hands-free (and mess-free!). Using voice commands, you can open a class or show, and pause and rewind stay on-pace with the chefs. Scroll through helpful categories like "Trending Recipes," "No-Pressure Dinners" and "Sweet Summer Treats" for inspiration. Or search recipes and classes by dish, ingredient, instructor or cuisine.

While you’re cooking, you can also ask Alexa to review the ingredient list, making sure you never miss a beat. Want to save a recipe for later? Ask Alexa to "save recipe" and it will be added to a list you can access from wherever you use Food Network Kitchen — including your phone.

Or ask Alexa to start playing your favorite Food Network shows — commercial-free! You can watch Good Eats, The Kitchen, Barefoot Contessa, The Pioneer Woman and much more.

Get more specific details on how to use Alexa voice commands with Food Network Kitchen here. We can’t wait to start cooking with you.
