Build a better ice cream sandwich.

1. Freeze your base before assembling. 2. Use firm ice cream, not softened. 3. Scrape the ice cream instead of scooping. 4. Freeze sandwiches at least 1 hour before serving.

Cherry-Almond Croissants

Cut almond croissants in half, then split open. Lightly toast and let cool. Sandwich with cherry-vanilla ice cream.

Salted Caramels

Spread dulce de leche on small butter crackers. Sandwich with vanilla ice cream.

Coffee and Doughnuts

Split mini chocolate-covered doughnuts in half crosswise. Sandwich with coffee ice cream, arranging small spoonfuls on the doughnut ring and keeping the hole empty.

Chocolate-Banana Bread

Sandwich small slices of banana bread with chocolate ice cream.

PB&Js

Break graham crackers into squares. Spread half of the squares with peanut butter and the other half with raspberry jam. Sandwich with black raspberry ice cream.
