I just did the soda and loved it! It was very tasty and refreshing. I will definitely do it again! Thanks Giada

I have made this drink several times and everybody loved it, both old and young! Even though this is supposed to be sweet, I would put more lemon juice in it, otherwise it is a little too over-the-top sweet. You can strain this, to get the strawberry seeds out, but a lot of the fruity flavor gets taken out, but it is good either way. Also, if you want this to truely be like a soda, I put the suggested amount in (I use club soda instead of sparkling water, plus a little more after it's poured into a glass.

We used BLACKBERRIES which required straining but was worth the effort. I reduced the sugar a bit and used this to make ice cream sodas which were out of this world!
