    Recipe needs some changes

Rated: 2 stars out of 5
I knew once I started the recipe that it was going to need more sugar and oil. I put in about 1/4 cup of brown sugar, and I... used enough oil to make the mixture like wet sand. Then I added more salt to make it taste like it had butter in it. The crumble tasted delicious before and after it was cooked. I used fresh peaches and put a dollop of blueberry jelly in the center of each peach halve. (I got that idea from Sunny on "Cooking For Real"). With a few changes, this recipe could be really tasty. I guess you have to modify it to your own taste buds.Read more

This was a bit dry and wasn't very sweet. I would add butter and/ or sugar next time.

I made this a couple weeks ago. I did change a few things just from the other reviews I read. I did add a tsp of sugar over... the top. And with the crumbly mixture I added a drizzle of melted butter. It turned out nicely, just felt it missed something. My husband loved it though.Read more

Loved it for such a quick recipe! Instead of using frozen peaches, I used canned and instead of using oil, I used... butter...was not dry at all. Going to try with canned apples - mmm mmmmm!Read more
