Ingredients
- 4 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 red onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
Pit and halve avocados and scoop out flesh into a mixing bowl. Mash avocados with a fork, leaving it still a bit chunky. Add remaining ingredients, gently mix.
Refrigerate covered with plastic wrap for at least 1 hour before serving.

I love this recipe! I made it a couple times for the holidays and my whole family vacuumed it up. I didn't have cilantro so I put in some parsley and it tasted great! Also, to keep the guacamole from browning, keep the avocado pits and put them in the guacamole dip after it is prepared. This also helps if you want to make the dip a day ahead.

This was the BEST guacamole I've ever made. I omitted the cilantro, as I didn't have any on hand. Delicious!!!

THIS GUACAMOLE was SUPER amazing!
it was fantastic. i addad a little more seasonings to it, a bit of sour cream, and everyone loved it.
