Ingredients

2 ounces single malt Scotch, such as Highland Park 12 Year

1 ounce sweet vermouth, such as Dolin

2 dashes Angostura bitters

3 high-end maraschino cherries

Directions

  1. Add the Scotch, vermouth and bitters to a mixing glass, add large ice, stir thoroughly, single-strain into a coupe glass, garnish with 3 high-end maraschino cherries and serve.

Another excellent throw back to the golden age of cocktails. Thank you GZ...this is truly excellent especially if using Carpano Antica Formula for the sweet vermouth and always those Luxordo cherrries! Also, I used Pechaud’s bitters. Drink the scotch you live!!
