This lager-driven tavern slings retro comfort fare with outlandish twists. Take, for instance, the High Life Man: This burger features one-quarter pound of beef, an Italian sausage patty, three strips of bacon, Swiss and American cheese, grilled onions, jalapenos, mayonnaise and barbecue sauce, all piled together on a sesame seed bun half. The proverbial cherry on top is a mini powdered doughnut.
