The Igloo was founded by Louis and Pat Mazzorana on the Fourth of July in 1937. These days, Rich and Chris Decker, lifelong Peru, Ill., residents and restaurateurs, carry on the traditions of the Mazzoranas by making sure the pork is never frozen, always fresh, and reliably crispy and tantalizing.
