Getting into the ’cue game was quite a detour for Adam and Kendra Taylor: Previously, he was an aerial application pilot (aka crop duster), and she was preparing for a career as a physician assistant. Today, Adam mans the smoker while Kendra turns out sides and sauces as well as desserts. Some of their best dishes include fall-off-the-bone ribs, smothered green beans and creamy cinnamon apple-nut salad. Make sure you arrive here on the early side, because lunch starts at 11 a.m. and ends when everything is sold out.
