All Restaurants from Giada's Weekend Getaways

Showing 16 - 30 of 133 results

Mangy Moose Restaurant and Saloon

Open since 1967, the Mangy Moose is a fixture of Teton Village, Wyo., offering food and live entertainment with Jackson Hole flair. After the slopes, it's a casual spot for apres-ski. Sip on local brews, snack on the "truly decadent" Baked Artichoke Dip and recharge by its wood-burning fire-place.

Atelier Ortega (Formerly Cioccolato Pastry Shop)

1 Reviews

Previously known as the Cioccolato Pastry Shop, this artisan sweets boutique is located two blocks north of town square. Master chocolatier and pastry chef Oscar Ortega creates artful bite-size chocolates, hot chocolate and desserts. Giada loved the spicy Mexican hot chocolate.

Old Yellowstone Garage

Giada De Laurentiis, host of Food Network's Giada's Weekend Getaways grabs a slice of Wood-oven pizza in a Western setting at Old Yellowstone Garage.

Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole

Grab your fishing poles! For a fun family activity, learn to fly-fish on the Snake River with one of Four Seasons' seasoned guides. Full-day lessons come with a gourmet picnic, wine included, and all half-day lessons feature a gourmet snack selection. Giada caught a trout on her trip -- will you?

The Dancing Crab

1 Reviews

Don't be fooled by its outside because this Maryland-style crab house has more than 35 years of happy customers. With a few lessons you can pry into the tasty steamed Chesapeake crabs served with butter, spicy seasoning and vinegar. Just ask Giada, whose weekend trip made her an expert.

Dahlia Lounge

1 Reviews

As one of Seattle's foremost chefs, Tom Douglas has long been hailed as spearheading the movement for organic, sustainable and local cuisine. Giada loved the entire menu, which, from brunch to dinner, highlighted fresh seafood and produce. But you must save room for the made-to-order doughnuts.

Shades Cafe

Pop into the quaint Shades Cafe, Jackson Hole's first true coffee-house. Its clever take on traditional breakfast and lunch dishes, as well as its freshly brewed coffee, keeps customers coming loyally. Giada savored the Eggs Tomavo, a spin on the classic eggs Benedict topped with avocado and tomato.

Walk into one of Jackson’s handful of coffee shops and you’ll probably overhear a customer ordering a Wild Tribe. Sipping the blended frozen mocha drink at Pearl Street Bagels should help outsiders understand why it’s so addictive, especially on a warm summer day. The frothy sip is icy, caffeinated and, if you add a banana to it, a solid breakfast option. Plus, Pearl Street Bagels is home to the best bagels in the valley. Just know there’s a no-toasting policy because they’re so fresh.

Rising Sage Cafe at Spring Creek Ranch

On Food Network's Giada's Weekend Getaways, host Giada DeLaurentiis settles in for a mountain meal and fly fishing at Spring Creek Ranch and Jackson Hole, WY, on Food Network's Giada's Weekend Getaways.

Chef Jeff Drew of Snake River Grill, the quintessential fine-dining spot in Jackson since 1993, offers a small plate of morels in spring and sometimes early summer, depending on availability. When morels are in season in Teton Valley, you’ll find both locals and chefs out in the wild foraging the coveted wild mushrooms. Drew allows the morels to shine, serving them simply in a delectable bath of buttery and herbed sauce, salted to draw out the earthiness. On The Best Thing I Ever Ate, Giada raves about Snake River Grill's famous Eskimo Bars -- and it's no wonder why. They make these ice cream bars with artisanal Scharffen Berger chocolate and a rich caramel dipping sauce. For an equally dip-worthy dish, try the Branding Iron of Sweet Onion Ring

At Black's Barbecue, the oldest family-run barbecue joint in Texas, slow-cooked ribs, brisket, sausage and more are the lay of the land. Don't expect to drown your meal in BBQ sauce here; Black's does its meat the old-fashioned way, so nothing gets in the way of its distinctive sweet smokiness.

The Broken Spoke

1 Reviews

Both Bobby and Giada have two-stepped at this iconic country bar where legends like Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton have made the rounds. The dance hall perfectly captures Austin's charm, but the menu branches out with its famous chicken fried steak, Mexican enchiladas and even brick-oven pizzas.

TRIO at Four Seasons Hotel

Regular sunsets are so been-there-done-that. At dusk from mid-March to November, you can watch as bats flood the sky from under the Congress Bridge. TRIO at Four Seasons Hotel offers the perfect perch for a bat watch, and Giada enjoyed it with the award-winning "Batini" made with juicy blackberries.

McCrady's

Chef Sean Brock prepares seasonal low country cuisine at this upscale Southern dinner spot. Try the chef’s tasting menu, which features a rotation of dishes such as local roast chicken with chow chow and morel mushrooms and South Carolina peaches dressed with creme fraiche, cinnamon and basil.

The Wreck of the Richard and Charlene

2 Reviews

With no reservations, no signs and no frills, this local restaurant can easily be missed from the road, Giada recommended the "good and simple" cayenne-dusted deviled crab and boiled peanuts, which are offered alongside other Southern staples such as she-crab soup and fried green tomatoes.
