Bob's Coffee and Donuts has been a Los Angeles Farmers Market favorite for decades, making it an ideal spot for Giada's Weekend Getaways. In addition to the shop's classic glazed and jelly doughnuts, other baked goods on display include beignets, cinnamon rolls and apple fritters.

While on a weekend getaway in Los Angeles, Giada couldn't wait to treat herself to Pazzo Gelato. This popular family-owned gelato parlor makes its own 25 flavors on a daily basis. Giada declared her chocolate shake to be ''rich, decadent and perfect [for a] vacation.''

Since the first sushi bars in the country opened in LA, it seems LA has a sushi bar on every corner. But Hamasaku's modern sushi has been an instant crowd-pleaser. Giada customized her roll with ponzu sauce but for newcomers, try the crowd favorite: Charlize tacos made with fried wonton skin.

Emporio Rulli's dessert cases offer an array of delicious Italian treats, including mixed berry tortes and limoncello cakes. But come the holidays, Giada wants none other than the panettone Milanese. The sweet, buttery bread is unlike any other. As she says, "this is love."

Almost everyone has tried peanut butter, but how about almond butter or macadamia butter? Magee’s House of Nuts in Los Angeles showcases a huge variety of products for nut lovers. Magee's has been selling cashews, peanuts and pecans at the Los Angeles Farmers Market for more than 70 years.

Cap off a day of sightseeing with dinner at Zin, where farm-fresh produce, local wines and homegrown ingredients are the stars of the menu. If there's a long wait for a table, Giada recommends grabbing a seat at the bar and ordering zinfandel-glazed barbecue-beef short ribs with mashed potatoes.

Giada suggests starting your tour in the tasting room, then moving downstairs to the wine caves, the only public ones in the area, for samples in the barrel room.

Ina's vacation to Napa had to include a stop at Oakville Grocery. The store offers more than just specialty gourmet items; it also has a number of inspired prepared salads and sandwiches made with local California produce. Ina couldn't resist grabbing a loaf of crunchy Della Fattoria bread.

For the perfect Saturday morning breakfast, Giada heads to the L.A. farmers' market where they host more than 85 shops and sell everything from seasonal and year-round produce to farm-fresh eggs, local Dungeness crab and Giada's absolute favorite, Nutella crepes from The French Crepe Company.

Ask Wolfgang Puck what's the perfect fish and he'll say the Salt-Crusted Branzino at Angelini Osteria. On The Best Thing I Ever Ate, he admitted to dreaming about the Branzino's light, delicate flavors. Angelini's also has another admirer, as Giada dreams about the Lasagna Verde with spinach pasta.

Nic's Beverly Hills takes vodka seriously. During her weekend getaway, Giada marveled at Nic's VODBOX, a glass exhibitionist freezer lined with shelves of the best vodkas, all available for tasting. Luckily, you can warm up to sizzling specialties such as Nic's Burger With Aged Gouda.
