When Giada ended her weekend getaway to Miami she finished at The Pelican Café. The café wows tourists with their diverse take on coastal fare from Italy to the Peruvian Coast. Make it a Pelican double by reserving one of their eclectic and funky decorated hotel rooms.

To get to Beano's Cabin, you must go by tractor or horseback. Or if it's winter, by sleigh. But Giada says this mountaintop restaurant is worth the trip. Beano's gourmet full-course menu doesn't disappoint with its Watermelon Gazpacho appetizer or Rack of Lamb entree glazed with maple syrup.

On her day trip to Catalina Island near Los Angeles, Giada couldn't wait to visit Avalon Seafood for its much-loved Fish and Chips, made with fresh, locally caught fish. The market makes its own tartar sauce using a recipe so secret even Giada doesn’t know it.

Located in the heart of Napa Valley and known for its comfortable but elegant setting, Cindy's is a local favorite and a top stop for tourists. Enjoy your dinner alfresco on the patio with flatbread or a salad to start followed by the wood-oven duck, which Giada calls a perfect home-cooked meal.

Looking for a place to stop between wineries? Giada recommends Nappy Valley's Round Pond Estate olive mill to learn about artisanal olive oils and how they're made. Book a tour and tasting, or drop in during the summer months for a sampling of the estate's olive oils and red wine vinegars.

Anyone looking for great food with a great waterfront view should stop by Sam's Anchor Café on the San Francisco Bay. Sam's is nationally known for its pink lemonade cocktail, which Giada enjoyed with a bowl of hearty cioppino on her San Francisco getaway.
