It’s hard to remember a fast food launch that got more frenzied attention than in 2019 when Popeyes released its now legendary Chicken Sandwich. The sandwich proved so popular that people fought in long lines trying to get the sandwich before it sold out – which it often did.

Now, Popeyes is trying to make magic happen once again when on May 3 the chain releases yet another potentially explosive menu item. And unsurprisingly, it’s again a chicken sandwich: The Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich.

The Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich mixes a creamy herb buttermilk ranch with zesty and buttery buffalo sauce which tops a breaded chicken on brioche bun with barrel cured pickles.

“Two years ago, our Chicken Sandwich reintroduced the world to our chicken mastery, and we have not stopped innovating since. We have a lot of fun experimenting with new flavors in our test kitchen, and this Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich is one I’m especially excited to bring to our guests,” said Sami Siddiqui, President of Popeyes North America in a statement to the media.

The new Popeyes Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich is available nationwide in restaurants and for delivery as of May 3 starting at $4.99 with Popeyes Rewards members receiving 150 bonus points when ordering this on the Popeyes app or popeyes.com.
