We’re surprised it wasn’t already in the seasonal rotation.

Starbucks often predicts the change in seasons with their menu lineup. We usher in the fall with Pumpkin Spice Lattes, and when it comes to winter, we’re ready to fill our seasonal red cups with the flavors of cinnamon and peppermint.
Well, ’tis the season – that time is here again and as of November 4, the Starbucks holiday beverages will be here. This year’s lineup will be extra exciting, as all the favorites have returned – from the Peppermint Mocha to the Caramel Brulee Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha and even an early return of the Irish Cream Cold Brew.

However, an extra beverage is entering the lineup this year, and this one is especially excited for plant-based coffee lovers. The new Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte, is non-dairy, featuring Sugar Cookie flavored syrup added to Starbucks Blonde Espresso, ice, almondmilk and then finished off with red and green cookie sprinkles. This drink can be enjoyed cold or hot – but something tells us the hot will feel more seasonally appropriate.

Of course, the most recognizable part of the Starbucks holiday menu is the red cups that the drinks are served in, and this year there are four new red cups, all with gifting-related patterns. Whether going for wrapping paper, ribbon, holiday lights, or candy cane, they will all help to set the mood.
Perfectly timed, of course, because we’re going to need all the caffeine we can get to get started on our holiday shopping.
