I made this salsa to go with grilled duck breast and it was a big hit! I was out of lemons so used a combination of lime and organge jiuce as a substitute. Also didn't want it too spicy so cut the jalapeno in half. Would definitely make it again - be sure you have a cherry pitter if you're using fresh cherries (which I highly recommend.

This is really good. I forgot to buy green onions so I used Walla Walla Sweet onions, which I think complement the sweetness of the cherries. This is definitely a different taste from standard tomato based salas recipes, but I think that this would be a hit at potlucks, barbecues, etc. Also, it is quite simple to prepare. I used frozen cherries as my grocery store was out of fresh cherries, and that actually ended up being easier.
