White Peach Sangria

Ingredients

One 750-milliliter bottle semisweet white wine, such as Riesling

3/4 cup Simple Syrup, recipe follows

1/4 cup orange juice 

1/4 cup white rum 

1 cup raspberries 

2 white peaches, sliced into wedges, plus additional peach slices, for garnish

Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish

Simple Syrup:

1 cup sugar

Directions

  1. Combine the wine, Simple Syrup, orange juice and rum in a pitcher. Add the raspberries and peaches and stir. Chill, covered, at least 1 hour and up to 24. Serve over ice. Add a peach slice and mint for garnish and enjoy!

Simple Syrup:

  1. Combine the sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and let cool completely. Keep covered in the refrigerator up to 1 month.

Amazing recipe! I doubled it and it was so good we made another pitcher. You’d think it would be super sweet but the simple syrup just smooths it all out. Too easy to drink lol. <br />Can’t wait to make his all summer.
